Dad just signed for a 08 2500 4wd lt1 ext. cab z71. Interior is ebony and color is blue granite metallic. Test drove one today and the diesel is great with the 6 spd w/3.73. Can you guys tell me the maintenance tips like how often to change the fuel filter and how often to change the oil?
Anybody else got any good tips on these things?

I change my fuel filter at 10,000 miles with the duramax and the oil between 5000 and 10000. It depends how traffic is and if I have been pulling my toy hauler. Be aware of adding performance chips because you may lose your warranty. Gm can check your system to find any add ons now and void your warranty.
