Where can one buy a ss. pipe to remove the cat on the lly ? Thay talk about a pipe from a lb7 but not where to get one. I would like to keep the stock exhauts, just want lower egts, and quicker turbo spool up time. Any help would be most help full. Thanks in advance. One more thing i think this web sight is the best I look foward to looking at it every day. Keep up the good work.

Try doing a search for "Cat Removal" or Replace cat exhaust with LB7?

someone just went to the dealer and ordered an LB7 front pipe, bolts right onto the LLY as well.

I used a Dynomax pipe. Do a search on McRat and Dynomax.

That's cheaper than the Dynomax at Summit.

buy a mbrp 4 inch installer series with a downpipe piece . i did it, was an easy install .the only problem was removing the back section. it was a little tricky. i supported the trans ,lowered the crossmenber(rght-side) only lossened the leftside bolt. then worked the back section out. if you cut it its alot easier. i am very satisf. with my exhaust system call mark craig for a price

You can do it an see if it sets EGR codes. If it does, installing a finger stick will stop the codes.

hey thanks. will the codes be visible with the check engine light or will i have to read them with the predator?

To see what codes are set, you will have to use a reader of some sort. I see you have the Predator, so that will work. The SES light may or may not be on depending on the version of the engines Software.
