You can get the driver cheaper and from a more reputable seller, like any stanadne rep. They call that guy A-1 or old steaksauce and he's generally avoided.

Worst place on the net. No Phone, no address, no warranty, doesn't take checks, likes to post on sites as an alias and hyperlink his site. Hmmmmm?

I bought (kit) mine from www.ssdiesel.com (http://www.ssdiesel.com) So far it has been real good. He takes all forms of payment and gives a one year warrenty on the part. Easy to install.

I'm new here too. Maybe I messed up. I purchased mine from A1. Didn't have any trouble and I used my personal check. I also purchased the boost controll and remote harness for the pmd. Do other placed warranty their pmd? Guess I should have done some more checking first. I was thinking about purchasing WMI from him unless I find a better one someplace else.

Welcome to the site 96 GMC 65,

Heath Diesel is where I'd look to for WMI info, sort of depends what you are doing with you truck as to whether WMI vs IC is way to go; Kennedy Diesel is where I got my IC kit and other baubbles, take a stroll thru the FAQs and welcome notes at top of 6.5 header here for differences between 2 approaches, both have merit. Fuel control there is a waste of $$$, support after the sale has been spotty with some I prefer talking directly to a vendor, Support those that advertise here and you won't be disappointed.

IC vs WMI read FAQs you decide which way to go "enlightnment/information" offered at that site is subjective & slanted to their solutions, I also prefer the Heath solution for FSD over his, plus the 7yr warranty is a big plus.

If you can log in that is, I tried as a guest could not do it, a LOT of misinformation there, I'd be wary of that site some who log into steaksauces ventures wind up getting a lot of suspicious looking emails and spam pop ups after the fact when they challenge his concepts, I have a good blocker but did not want to risk access into my computer so I did not register there. We have cross swords before as have others here, wasn't a pretty sight.

thanks for the welcome. Now the prob with my truck it stalls intermittally.
Sometimes real bad one day and nothing other times. Not sure if it's the
pmd or fuel. My truck holds about 500 litres of fuel (tank in box feeding
main tank). So it will take awhile to burn it all out if its a fuel prob.
Truck sometimes sputters when also. Always fires back up right away
when it stalls out. So I am not sure if its pmd or water in fuel. I always
add half a gallon of conditioner when i fill also.Truck is a 98 3500 4X4.
Thanks

Take a trip to the FAQs at the top of the heading I've linked a thread there should cover bases on how to start troubleshooting problem you are having, also try doing search many inciudences of this, if that does not help you start a new thread so we can link it for the next guy multiple problems in a thread tend to get hidden hindering the search engines ability to find similar complaint to yours.
