This seems to always be a hot topic, so I thought a very simple poll...

Edit: So far, I have 5800 miles on this Delvac 1 ESP and has not used one drop

I've had nothing but good luck with 15W40 Rotella T on the LLY and LBZ. Never have used more than a qt in up to 7500 mile changes. I'm 95% highway. LBZ now at 57k. Changed it last night at 7500. Used about 1 qt.

Synthetic everywhere. There is only so much oil in the ground.

Plus, if you can change all of the fluids on a gas car (LS-1 Camaro) to syn and gain 10hp at the rear wheels - it can't be bad.

It can only be better for a heavy duty truck with huge friction surfaces.
