At risk of being labeled a censor I deleted portions of a thread that did not add to the topic at hand, it was turning toward a person to person battle, I have PM'd folks and think the issue to be water over the dam. Very difficult to be all things for all people for those that think I was over the top with my edits PM me and we can discuss offline. I'm really not attempting to censor anyone here, just trying to promote ability to agree/disagree with a semblance of decorum. My apologies to those that think I went to far, Tie stick around you are always welcome to post.

That was not intended to be a diatribe on 'go away and do not bother us'.

I signed on here, being an observer-only for about 6 months, directly after a war-zone mentality was evicted and barred from membership.

(TD on edit here, ole Steak Sauce was one of a few that tried to subvert this forum into personal agendas, back in pre moderator days which is why we now have Mods)

His tactic of harangueing folks that posted things he didn't want to understand disrupted the exchange of information.
His advocacy of products for reasons that violated known scientific principles tainted that exhange of information.

And, people tend to believe the most aggressive constituent- a large number of folks here, and on other forums, purchased his product, based on nothing more than his aggressive "my product is wonderful - their product sucks" salesmanship.
'Outside the box' thinking.

These forums are a living Reference Encyclopaedia - any subject can be searched by thread or member; any thread can be correlated to others of similar subject - and the information is updated, constantly, momentarily.

Most folks that sign on here have just come from having been shafted by Bozo the good(monkey)wrench clown, and are seeking information to help restore operation to a 'broke' vehicle.
If they find only Bozo information, where can they turn?

It therefore behooves us to expose product, information, and 'outside the box' ideas that violate scientific principle, for what they are - snake oil.

(Snake oil was one of many 'patent medicines', distributed by traveling salesmen, whereby one tblspoon a day would cure arthritis, gout, hemorrhoids, rheumatism, warts, gauranteed on the label.
One blend contained 'poisonous snake oil, guaranteed to kill many ailments'.
There were others.....)

I like this Forum site because of the moderate atmoshpere, and occasionally, operational information is posted that has been unavailable on other sites, for one reason or another.
Information that probably would not have been possible here, previously, due to the war zone atmosphere.

The people on this site have been the best in the world on the 6.5. I LOVE my truck and you people get all the credit!!! No where have I found such unselfish, intellegent help on any subject.
