I got my EFI Live in yesterday. BOY was I excited!!
I put the truck back to stock with the Quadzilla. I downloaded the stock tune.
I have been playing around with the tunes that are on this site and in the tune library from Dmaxtuner. I have the DSP5 switch and plan on installing today.
So I am ready right?

I have read reams of paper as well as a couple of hours in tutorials. I cannot figure out how to download the freaking tunes to the PCM. None of the instructions tell you how.
I know it is something REAL stupid that I am missing. I have looked at all of the PDFs and I see nothing that says how to LOAD a tune. Am I looking for the wrong thing? Do they call it something else?
Maybe....How to calibrate the fluxcapacitor to maximize the output to the carbon production unit?:rolleyes:
I don't know.
I guess the working 12-14 hour days and then trying this afterwards is finally getting to me.

Just had to vent. Going back to all the trees I have killed and reading somemore.:(

It sounds like you could use a 12-14 snooze. Poor guy ;)

To flash a tune to the truck, first get all connected up to the truck like you were when you downloaded the stock tune, then open the tune you intend to flash into the truck, then click the skinny red arrow next to the green arrow which you used to read the stock file. You'll have to license your ECM, then go through the process again. You only have to license the truck once.
