I was wondering if anyone besides Mark The Shark did a custom fab. job to install 6x9's in a LLY Crew Cab in all four doors. I took my panels off and i can make them fit with some brackets and Tack welding... I read somewhere that if welding is going to be done on doors to be very careful because its "temperature tensioned or stress" and a weld could release the tension and or stress. Am I off on this weld scenario (just a could of tacks)? and if anyone has done an install like this with or without a weldcan you post some pictures.. thanks

a 6.5" component set will sound just as good without all the work.

You can do it without welding and using fiberglass. BUT not worth all the work for pioneer 6x9's.
