I have a locking cap that I bought from WalMart. It cost me about $12.00.

i've got a locking cap i got from like Kragen or something. it's a Stant 11591 and it was like $10 bucks or so. there's a pic of it in my garage.

I have a GM locking diesel cap, not green, but had the "D" on it indicating Diesel. Bought it from one of those on-line GM parts sites. There's a thread somewhere on DP that gave me the site. Not sure but I think I may have paid around $15 or $20 shipped ?

I got my locking fuel cap at advanced auto for about $15. I always said that my bro-in-law was crazy for putting them on his truck 10yrs ago but now it makes good since @ $3.75 a gal.

I have a Stant locking cap from Walmart because I was to cheap to buy a locking fuel door. Now the cap lock is messing up and I need a new one. It would really suck to have that cap cut off if the lock breaks.

anyone figure out how to make the locking cap tie in to the vehicle security system so that, instead of a key to lock/unlock the little door, it is power actuated like fancy euro cars are?

that would be an excellent mod - i would pay a nice sum for that feature.

I still have my locking cap from my gasser that I had. Been leery of putting it on cause I didn't know if there was a difference, like different pressure reliefs or something. Would it work just fine on my Diesel? TIA.
