OSU D-MAX

I have a 03 with 24k on it. Two weeks ago the truck started to start hard after sitting for a few hours. I thought it was trouble with the glow plugs, because the weather here in Ohio has been sub-par for most of the winter. Took the truck to the stealer and they told me my problem was coming from 3 injectors going bad. They had to order new injectors and are going to replace all 8 on Monday. I asked the service manager if the new injectors were of better quality and he told me they would be much better. I was just wondering if he was full of sh_t or if the new injectors are actually better?

They have supposedly improved them. There is no proof though. I guess time will tell.

OSU-DMAX, where are you in Ohio, and what dealer are you using. I'm in the central Ohio area and just curious if you have a reliable dealer, if I need one.
I was dreading the time that I would need to have my injectors replaced, but the professionalism of socaldiesel and his service writer made it into a very positive experience. Start-to-finish was only a few days and it's good to know I've got the latest and greatest injectors.
It's was like getting a free, long overdue upgrade. The motor is back to smooth, vibration free idle and strong running like new.
They say this should be the final fix, time will tell.
