I am leaving tonight, well tomorrow morning at 3 am to start my drive from chicago to las vegas with the dmax. PLanning on going from chicago to denver the denver to vegas. pulling into vegas on friday afternoon. I am going to go through the first tank with the ppe on level 3 then try four and see my results. Depending on those will determine where I go from there. I am curious to see how it goes. On a side not the truck will not be totally empty to that will play into it as well. I am hoping to get at least 16 highway.

I did Ann Arbor MI to Whitefish MT in 36 hours almost non stop in a LLY 1ton crew stock, and got 15.9. I was running way above the posted limits much of the time as well.

I can't believe how good these trucks are on fuel. I average 20-21 MPG and I have a heavy right foot!

You won't see any good mileage for a about 200 miles after you leave Denver --- lots of HIGH mountains! :o:
