it has happend to me twice. it will start up fine and then put it into reverse and it stalls. you can put it back into park and will start right back up. the check engine light comes on and then you can shut it off and it won't come back on. can the edge cause this or something else?

It's easy enough to pull it out of line and see if that solves the problem. Sounds like a good simple first step.

remove the edge and see. otherwise try re-priming the truck.
