Have an appt. for Thursday morning but they said bring it in today and they would scan it real quick. EGR code. Dont know which one. My question is performance wise my truck is stock except for 4" Cat back exhaust with no muffler. Did my exhaust cause this code? Best thing to do is get an egr blocker plate and that will take care of any egr problems all those stinkin egrs do is fill your engine with unwanted soot. The blocker plates are fairly inexpensive and rather easy to install JStump 03-19-2008, 08:29 PM Mine coded when I cut the cat and muffler off one time it shut off after a few starts and has not done it sense.
