i would say, how much money do you want to spend? i think 20 's are about 100 bucks more a piece. i love my 18's. but 20's do look great .. if you are going with a real aggressive tire i would go 18 cause they will not last as long. all about the benjamins..

I would go with the 20's on a 37. I don't have any pics on 37's but here is a pic of my old rig with 20's on 35's

depends on what your doing. 20's are going to be better for towing and for on the road uses because more rim and less side wall give you a thicker sidewall (depending on the tire of course). It will handle the turns and weight better. If you are doing a lot of airing down for offroad purpose, the 18 will give you a bigger footprint offroad. IMO theh 20's will look better though.

yah no real hauling yet. maybe a 5k trailor for camping. no airing down.

i have 20's and i love them! the truck handles a lot better and rides better then the stock wheels and tires. and when im towing 10k+ there is a huge difference. there are pics in my garage

I am struggling with the same decision, although my decision is either 18's w/35's & 6" lift or do the 20's with 37's and an 8 inch lift......If comes down to appearance only, I think the 20's look better , but the 18's look tougher....you know???

There WAS a standard to this before the BIG wheel craze started. Wheel size should typically not be more than 1/2 of the tire size, example: If you want to run 36s you shouldn't go with anything more than 18s.

By that calculation if you wanted to run 37s I would stick with 18s. BUT, it also depends on your type of driving. If your rig is an on-road rig and will never be subject to hard impacts or airing down tires, etc. you can get away with 37s on 20s and it will handle better on the road due to shorter and stiffer sidewalls. If your rig is a weekend warrior and you enjoy getting dirty or taking trips to the beach or dunes and will be hitting obstacles or airing down, I would stick with 18s and a bit MORE sidewall.

Either way make sure you get want YOU want, it's all about personal preference! Especially when moneys not an issue.

20s cost as much as 18s do for the most part. if you have money to burn then buy 20s.

Looks like i have to get out of my 305/55 20 Toyo's cause the load index is too low (121 to be exact) my new fifth wheel needs 127 or better and those are ONLY available in 18's. So if weight is a concern maybe consider the 18's.. Toyo's has load index of 129 in 18's (4079 lbs each)
