The truck has sat all week, block heater plugged in. I fired it up tonight and it started fine. No SES light, no stored codes. I went to drive it and it feels like a complete slug, very sluggish to accelerate. Even reving in Park in struggled. The past week it has been cold, 10*- 30*............not terrible but cold. Could I have a clogged fuel filter or gelling fuel? I run additive every tank. Any ideas.

Sounds like either waxing of the fuel filter or icing of the filter. Try replacing the fuel filter, put a small amount of additive in the filter before putting it on. Test drive. If your current fuel filter isn't very old you could save it for later use, just thaw it out. Wax or ice will go away once the filter is warmed up. If you don't want to put a new filter on just yet, remove filter, drain fuel into clear container, thaw out and look for any water droplets. Add some additive to filter and prime with fuel.

What kind of fuel are you running-what kind of blend, winterized #2, 70/30, 50/50 etc., if you are not sure, ask the station that you buy your fuel from and they should be able to tell you.;)

A quick make shift filter heater would be be to lay a 60 watt extension light up against the filter, maybe even a heat gun would work better.

I changed the fuel filter and nothing changed. I pulled the dipstick and it is looking a little on the full side...................I will hook up a tech2 tomorrow and look at a few things.
