i just bought a used 02 lb7 and the dash has the finish flaking off in a few spots. has anyone run in to this at all or have a solution thanks for the input

My '03 is peeling off on the very left edge of the dash (drivers side) right above the fuse panel. You can grab a piece of it and it will peel a little, its almost like a vinyl coating on top of plastic. I am also curious as a monkey to know how to fix it, doubt you can just paint it.

had the same thing on my 06. dealer replaced under war. bezel was $150 on paper work.

yeah they have dash paint but i think i would have to do the whole thing and its not something i really want to get into hoping maybe someone had a quicker fix like touch up i am still lookin at all the parts stores and dealer for something i can just touch up with that will some what match anybody out there have any ideas

I have a new dash pad if anyone is interested.They are painted with ISO paint to get the soft touch.This new one is Charcol color.............JB.I live in Michigan near the Ohio/ind. line.......
