i was a trip to new jersey last week and stop at flying j service centers and they sell low sulfur diesel and ulta low sulfur diesel as well would there be a plus side of useing the low over the ulta low i running a 2005 gmc told only 07 and up meed ulta low i did notice that most of the big guys were using the low looking to take trip this summer to co. from texas pulling small 5th wheel just wondered if it had any more punch to it:rolleyes:

Any GM Duramax with a DPF require Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel. Same applies to other manufactor of 2007 Diesels. I accidently filled mine once with the LSD and seemed to get a 1 to possible 2 better MPG. Might have just been pure luck though. But you have no problem with your 2005. I would run a few tanks on each and monitor the MPG.

I wish I could still get LSD... Much better lubricity and better MPG by 1 or 2 at least.
