Curious to find out actually how much oil flows through the spin on? is it just a slipstream or does it get it all. My thoughts were that it has a primary filter, and the spin on is a portion of the flow to ease tranny wear and improve ease of maintenance. Any thoughts.......

No expert, but I was under the impression that it was 100% flow filtration.
Would be nice to have a real expert comment....

No, its a low flowrate through the spin-on. It filters the oil going to the valve body solenoids only. Flow varies, but roughly 1 gpm, compared to 5 or 6 gpm for the cooler system.

Ahhh, thanks alot! it all stemmed from the magnet covering up a little more of the holes on the napa filter, than the ally spin on, and got concerned about flowrate...
