ok i was looking at PPE website and i see a bunch of different things to do to beef the front end up. if i just do the sleeves will i be ok on doing 4wd launching? or do i need to beef the centerlink as well?

sleeves for sure.... or upgraded tierods. You dont need a centerlink unless your pulling sleds from what i understand. Also centerlinks limit your steering.

We do have vendors here who specialize in suspension components.

ok so all i need to concentrate on is JUST sleeves for a 4wd launch. whats cheaper to do upgraded tie rods or sleeves? can i put these on myself or i have to get them put on at an alignment shop?

if you go with the new HD tie rods that nor-cal offers they are cheaper and a better choice IMAO. but to each there own

do the tie rod sleeves and the pitman/idler arm braces. and when you plan on doing 4hi launches lower your torsion bars down all the way. just remember to mark the torsion bar bolts before you take them out so you know how far to thread them back in. i also would look into doing spring clamps on the front of your leaf springs. keeps the front end from lifting and makes for better launches.

sleeves, or hd tie rods. If your beefing the front end up go ahead and get cognito pitman and idler supports.

Sleeves are the cheapest..... Check the vendor sections

well i ordered my sleeves and cognito braces today should have them by friday. now i was told if i do launch in 4wd that im supposed to lower my T-Bars. why is that? i have them turned up now to were my tires dont rub and to were my truck sits level. they arent cranked all the way but i will say that they are cranked maybe a lil over half way. i do have keys keep in mind.

You want to lower your front end down to give you a better CV angle. Less chance of breakage.

The front half shafts go from the front diff to each spindle. there are cv joints, and u joints in each. the less they flex under load, the stronger they are. as in you crank the front up a few inches, they have to compensate for the diff being much higher then the spindles. same goes is you turn the wheel. The farther you crank it the higher you start at, under heavy launches the front picks up alot, plus the inches you cranked the tbars to. Boosted launches would be considered abuse in most anyones book, so don't tie one arm behind your trucks back before you do it.

I prefer 6 wheel burnouts on the ranch myself..
