: Lb7 blocker plate. How do I see if I have the EGR system on my truck? I would love to see if i could install a plate or if it is not possible but, I do not know what to look for.. Plus if there is no system on my truck and the plate lowers egt's what are alternatives to lower my exhaust temps? specialagentPK 03-15-2008, 03:58 PM Possible ways are a water/meth system, a cold air intake, or a larger turbo. You have the exhaust already so you are already getting the reduction from it. But the manufacture date is 08-03 and the vin# says its a lb7. Weard.. Plus the vin# thing confuses me. Every one says diget which represents a number. This to me means skipping the letters. Oddly enough one way is a 1, the other is a 2. When people say diget are they meaning alphanumeric? I am seriously laughing at my self while posting this thread. I know it is a very stupid question but I just want to know for sure...
