i didn't remove them really, but i relocated them to the top of the spring pack (http://community.webshots.com/photo/181647864/181651835IXMSGm)[same effect, but lets me use the same u-bolts and not loose them spacers]

do you have any pics of the truck after the blocks were removed?

I'm trying to figure why you want the spacers on top?? Most of us want these trucks up higher.....I would thing that would lower them. Of course, if you have a 2wd that would level it and make a little sense.

mine is 4x4, but i don't want it sitting way up in the air... the tires i have on it now [315's] don't need any more clearence to fit, and i wanted it to sit level, so relocating the spacer blocks was the easiest way to level it out... i also hate excessive wheel gap, like i see on some trucks with stock sized tires and they have 12" plus wheel gap...

here is the picture series after the blocks were relocated (http://community.webshots.com/album/181647864DSDTIG)

if you dig through this album, you might find something that shows pic's before the blocks were relocated (http://community.webshots.com/album/96239291HWkZNB/0) [i didn't take any pictures specifically for before/after comparison]

so your truck has no lift on it and still can fit 315's no prob? mine will be a 4x4 also but im goin with a long bed, so seeing that made me a happy man knowing that the truck does look alot better with the blocks moved and doesent look like it sits too low like the 2wds do in my opinion. thanx

I am also quit shocked that the 315's fit so nicely without the lift. I guess I know now that if I put the leveling kit and 285 or 305's that it might not look that nice....I guess I better look at the 315's

I have a 4x2 truck and would like to be able to get the necessary height to fit 315s. I think I could probably fit them in back just fine, but for the front I'll need to add some spacers. Anyone with a 4x2 tried to fit larger than stock tires? If so, what're the results?
