Has anyone installed a set of these headers for their gasser? I believe they are long tube-types and they have their own high-flow cats.

I'm thinking about adding a set to my 6.0L GMC Yukon XL. What can I expect from them and are they a worthwhile add-on?

In general, headers help at higher rpm's. They get the exhaust out allowing for a little more top end HP. At the low end they ususally hurt the torque a little since they are so efficient at getting the exhaust out they remove the needed backpressure at low rpms.

So it depends on your rpm operating range. These are all generalities of course. Headers come in different tube diameters to keep some of that low end in there. They are very engine and driving stype specific.
