When putting my truck in drive or reverse, I can hear a pop or click. It does it under beginning throttle, or sometimes just by putting it in gear. What could it be?

Did you check the U-joints? Was it dropping in hard like?

Leaf spring slap? Is the rubber disc still there on the spring pack? Could it be the driveshaft splines at the tail of the tranny? Just a guess.

It shifts normal from Park to drive, and its not hard, just normal with a click. No I am gonna check the u-joints this weekend while I am changing the tranny fluid.

Turned out it was the carrier bearing.

Well thats the thing, I got under the truck and shook it real hard a few times, had alot of play. After that it just quit makeing any noise?!!!!!!!!!!! HMMMM........

Musta been just a little out of whack or something. Good to go for now I hope:ro)

So far no more noise.. I looked again while I changed my oil last night, and its fine so far.

Do you have the stacks in? Post some pics unless you already have and I just missed it.

I will try to get them posted soon. They turned out nice. But they are loud. May get a DPP res. to help out a bit.
