I lost my door remote running through about 20" of snow last week. It was at my sister place about 120miles away and the nephew can't seem to find it.

Does anybody have an idea were i can get a replacement..... without paying $80 at the dealer???

Call Max Power and order an AstroStart and install that and get 2 remotes for free with the system!! ):h :ro)

I got a set of 2 used ones on ebay shipped to my door for $13.99. They were in great shape and the batteries were even good.

I assume you then have them reprogramed at the dealer.????

Oh, well there you go, better yet! I sure like my Astro Start and Tony is the man to buy it from!

There is a post here somewhere on how to program the remotes. When I got my truck, the dealer could not find the ones that came with thte truck and got 2 more. When getting the manual for oil change time, I found the 2 new ones in teh glove box unopened. Keeping them just in case.

Door closed, key on, key off, key on, key off (while holding down on the unlock button on the drivers door) Locks will cycle indicating programming mode is activated. Then hold down lock and unlock on keyfob #1 until locks cycle, then repeat last step to program additional fobs.

I purchased 2 w/receiver new in factory plastic bags off ebay from a canadian upbuilder for $24 2 mos ago just for that reason.
