Okay everyone is entitled to one stupid question a day, here mine. :rolleyes:

I have the extendable towing mirrors, with the turn signal and heat. can these mirrors be folded in? for tight garages or the carwash.

has anyone ever went thru a auto carwash with these mirrors?

They will fold back. Don't know how they handle a machine car wash.

Takle mine thru the high pressure ( No rotary brushes ) all the time.The operaator folds the mirrors back when I go in and I fold them out when I come out. No problems with mirrors, radio or Onstar antennes.

Our local wash has the rotating brush- no prob's here, just fold them in a get'r done.

I have the same setup. Got a narrow garage door and have to fold mirrors in to park in garage which I have been doing more of ever since rabbits have decided to move into engine compartment.

So far so good, I will let you know in a year how things are holding up. I am sure gm did not design them to be folded/unfolded on a daily basis but we will see.
