Now that I've got Trippin's mount, I'm finally ready to get my pyro and boost gauges installed.
I think I've got the installation process pretty well covered, but I can't decide on which actual gauges to get.
I'd like recall functions if possible, and I'd like something that matches the factory gauges fairly well.
Autometer Sport Comp looks good to me, but I'm also interested in the SPA. However, I've seen some quality complaints about SPA.
Any suggestions?

SPA has had a few quirks in the past, but they all seem to be worked out. We have sold quite a few of them without any call backs/complaints. The SPA are a high quality gauge, the best on the market IMO. Cant beat the features. We have them in all colors and configurations.
Autometer also makes a good gauge and have a wide array of colors to choose from. Closest to stock would have to be the Z-series or Sport Comp.

I like the idea of warning lights and an external alarm. Has anybody actually done this?

I have the sport Comp Autometer guages.... They've been installed for over a year now with no problems...
I felt the sport comp face was the closest "look" to the stock cluster.
You might do a search, there are a lot of options to chooses from.....

I have my SPA DG211 EGT alarm light to come on at 1100 degrees and have the Boost alarm light to come on at 25 psi. I don't always keep my eye on the gauge while I am towing and it's nice to see the light come one to let me know that my temps are getting high and to be aware.
I've had some issues with my SPA gauge, but customer service is excellent. They just replaced my entire gauge for no cost and it was even out of warranty.

Have Autometer gauges on a A-pilar mount and like the way match the stock gauges. The Bad: The pyro guage intermittenly would read irratically then crapped out after about a year. The Good: Fortunately the dealer I purchased them replaced it without question.

Is the SPA boost gauge electric (sender) or mechanical (tube type)?

Mechanical, and the backlighting is supposed to be released in blue very soon if not already! :D
I like Blue!;)

My SPA DG-211 which is the boost/pyro guage combo is electric on both.
Boost has a sending unit plugged into the wastegate and the pyro has the usual hoot position sensor that plug's into another electrical sending unit and then plug's into guage.
Nexus guages are on my list when they finally come out.
SPA customer service has been good like other's have said but I'm on my second pyro sending unit and third guage and now this one is starting to get a flickering back-light, and now my pillar pod is getting screwed up because I've taken it on and off so many time's, plus the boost guage will hit 125.6 lbs once in a while
I think some one snuck a set of Juice-Grips (TM) under my hood
