just got my trans buikt and on the way home (basically stock tune) i rolled into it at ~90mph and it limped to 2000 rpms.... and help???? thanks!

ya sure its a tranny limp??? my moneys on a P1093, better get that fuel pressure relief valve shimmed! Well afer searching its nothing to do with the tranny its a fuel code. As i said shim the valve and give her hell.

yea p1093 low rail pressure during power. get a programer or an OBDII code reader

That same thing has happened to me once, and as a newbie its actually kinda frightening. I totally figured I effed my pickup. Anyway that sounds like textbook p1093 have it read somewhere.

P0088 is a fuel code which is probably totally unrelated to your tranny build.

p0088 is fuel rail pressure to high. you have a shim or race valve in?

yes i know it is a p0088 code which deals with fuel.... but its wierd that is BASICALLy a stock tune with a touch of boost but what i wonder why it came up when driving home? maybe the extra force of the trans and at a high speed it took some extra fuel to get going. i do not have a shim kit in. thats why its wierd

Could have been just a one time thing. Have you cleared the code and it still comes back??

yep cleared code and its fine. i did switch to a more powerful tune though. maybe just a freak thing i guess. thanks for your help guys! time to go tear up some pavement!
