Anyone else notice much more cabin noise when the lockup torque converter is locked up?

I've always had a resonance of some kind that is really noticeable, and in the cold it is really loud.

Is there anything that can be done to make the transmission quieter?

Welcome to the site. Where are you located? I don't hear that on my truck but it may be too warm here in sunny (with a few showers lately) San Diego.

I'm in Ottawa Canada. Running the truck today in -22C sunny conditions. In the summer, it was audible but not annoying sound from the tranny when locked up. At -20C I can hear immediately when the torque converter locks, and the sound level increases quite a bit.
