Hello all. Just added a juice/attitude to my truck. LLY 2005. It seems to run great off the bottom but as it starts building some speed it starts popping almost like a back fire in a gas job. Any ideas? I am guessing this is a emissions related thing.......???? I intend on putting a 4 inch exhaust on truck but haven't yet

I have been doing some reading on other posts ...... still no answers. Is this maybe the "turbo bark".

Mine didnt do that. I had it on first with just the J/A, then later added the catback 4". Only thing Ive had, and it only happened once, is under a hard accel it felt like someone slammed the brakes on, then took off again. Was very wierd. Never has happened since, so dunno.

No... I don't think that is turbo bark.....call edge and see about getting a new box. Run the truck stock and make sure it doesn't do it in stock configuration first to rule out any other possibilities. Edge will take care of you...don't worry....they have great customer service!!

do any of you have your EGR disconnected? could that be the problem?
its almost like the fuel is getting shut off at wide open throttle after several seconds of strong running. Usually in about the 3 to 4 shift area when matted! then it repeatedly falls on its face with a terrible sound of popping or backfiring through the intake? Im lost for words.......????
has anyone had a faulty juice with these problems???

Mine did that because of a wrong version of the Attitude. Unhook it and try just the Juice. That should tell you quick.

I had mine do the same thing yesterday on my 300 mile road trip.
A couple of times it did it for 10 miles or so and i moved up and down levels but it stopped on level 0, outside temps was 22-26*f.
I've also had trouble w/ my J/A not working unless outside temps are over 20*f.
For a week it wouldn't work even though the attitude was working fine and temps were -6* to low teens.
I've been talking to Jared at Edge and was going to send mine in for testing, I'm going to talk to him today.
I think some of the boxes are having problems from low temps possibly opening a circuit since it is repeatable w/ low outside temps.
I suggested to Jared they may need to put the juice in a box of dry ice and test to see if low temps are causing a problem.
Engine temps were way over 180 too and egr is stock for now.

Mine does this as well and has since day one. At this point I do not think Edge has a cure for it. Many people have sent their box back in and the replacment did the same thing. We will just have to wait for the fix once they get it figured out ...............................

I did some more testing today.... but intend on doing more. It mainly seems to do it on the 3-4 and 4-5 shifts under full throttle. If you don't mat it... you can barely notice it. I will try to unhook the attitude.... and if that doesn't cure it then maybe the juice too. Anyone know if any updates or new versions are out for the juice or attitude?

Yesterday mine was doing it (bucking) on cruise going up a slight incline, level 1,2 or 3 and stopped on level 0.

According to Edge, as of last week, there is only 1 version so far for the LLY Juice.

I just got my truck back from dealer (put on new hydro boost finally) and had the check the TSBs.
They said they did it before but didn't so they reflashed it yesterday.
Jared from Edge thinks this will help the bucking/surge, but it was -5*f this morning so the juice wouldn't work.
Next time it gets over 24* i'll see how it works.
