i have heard that installing blocks is bad and you should just do a long add a leaf kit? what are the pro and cons of each?

I run block and axle wrap is only an issue if you don't air down. If you start to get wrap drop the pressure 20-40 psi, depending on tires you run, and you will no longer have an issue. I know airing down is a pain if you have a slow compressor on none at all but it makes all the difference in the world.

I have a six inch lift and the rear has a block and and add-a-leaf. I would prefer to replace all with the proper height leaf springs. Who makes em?

Patrick, If you are just doing it for looks I would put on the blocks. If you plan on alot of heavy towing I would look more at heavier spring to get the clearance you are looking for. Another option is air bags, many on here use them. Do a search on air bags. If you go with the heavier leaf spring or add a leaf you might get a rougher ride. Just a guess, I have always added blocks and never have had a problem. Just my 2 pennys
