Could anybody recommend a good mechanic in lower Michigan that I can trust to do the reflash for my LLY? Also, what software do I need to monitor the balance rates on The LLY injectors?

We need to set a date & time. Do you work for a dealership? What would be the cost?

I assume your under warranty so cost is only the trip over to Grand Rapids.

Time would be best sometime after Feb 7th. I will be gone most of next week to FL for the Suncoast Open House.

Im new here. Ratlover knows me. Im wondering what are typical problems in the duramax engines?

Im really considering a 2500hd or 3500 srw with the diesel/allison. And before I buy, I want to know what the typical problems are in these engines.

Thanks fellas!

PremierLandscaping-Just go through the many pages of posts here.. You can find a lot of information that will tell you more.
I'll tell you the most typical problem with these trucks though.. It's hard to quit driving it! I'd rather be in my truck than a lot of other things I need to do.

Could anyone direct me to a good diesel mechanic in West Virginia? I have a 05 Duramax with the Allison and I love it. It has a little over 10,000 trouble free miles on it in the first three months.

Thanks,
Jim
