Does any one know were I can find the power sorce that is activated by the butten on dash that looks like lights or something. It makes like a clicking sound when pressed, and sounds like the click is coming from behind the drivers seat. I was going to try to take the interior apart behind the drivers seat.I want to hook up a power converter to run small tools in a pinch. Probly best to wire to the batteries but either way I would like to know how to jump off that power sorce. My last truck had it also and I never figured it out and I am determind to find it on this truck. Any help on this matter would be grately apreciated

is it the button to the right of the heater controls? if so it is wired for a beacon light or what ever you choose. the wires are in the headliner near the third brake light. the switch turns on a relay. don't leave it on though even if your not using it it will kill your battery in no time. there are fuses in the under hood box and the relay is driver side dash panel iirc. if not in front of your left foot on the floor.

Hey thanks for the reply. So does the head line need to come out to expose the wire, and is that a simple task, or might I brake like tabs or something and the head liner will be hanging down the rest of the trucks life. Again thanks for helping out, I love the diesel
