Hello all, a lot has changed since i was last on her last may! I had my turbo and injectors go at 43,000 miles about 3 months ago....I have edge 90hp and 4" bullydog exhaust with K&N filter. Injectors I can understand but my turbo. What could've caused that and why? The dealer said I fried it but still footed the bill, but could the edge of made the egts melt it or should i get a turbo timer, or maybe to much psi?

Yup! Made of alloy and continuous heat around/above 1600*F will "fix" it! :(

What were you doing when it blew? Towing heavy?

if your injectors caused enough oil dilution, the bearing surfaces in the turbo unit could gall or score quite easily, or leave varnish deposits on the shaft.
That will kill a turbo quite rapidly. Faster than a 90 HP juice box would.

no not towing heavy. I was only towing about 6k. Heard a low whistling noise that sounded like a altenator going took it in the shop and they said hey mark your turbo's fried. And your truck wouldn't turn over this morning your injectors are bad. Yahoo that was a good call.
