The wife said after taking off real fast the other night (oh by the way she is due May 20 it going to be a little girl) that the baby is not to ride in the DMAX. I told her that I would not drive that fast with her until she is old enough to say wow wee Do it again Daddy. LOL

Thanks to their mother, my kids initially didn't want a thing to do with a stinky old diesel. Now my 8 year old has an "image problem" if we take the 1990 Toyota Camry!

Congrats on the new addition.

Naa. We do do Camrys..LOL... CHEVY Dmax or CHEVY Tahoe.

She already hates for me to "burn rubber" I think that it is the squealing that she hates. Maybe one day she will come around, When the little one comes around saying Mommy take the truck..LOL.

First of all, congrats on your upcoming addition. She will love it.

I have a 2.5 year old son that loves my truck and loves to play with the gas, when idling, as he revs it up. He looks so great doing it. The other day, while I was lubing the truck, he drove his Hummer (Little Tikes) up next to my truck and crawled under the front of it as if he was lubing his truck. Once upon a fuel filter change he came by with a black arm and I found some tools in my tail pipe. I know he loves to help but man I have to put my tools on a shelf that he can't climb on anything to get to it. /my brother gave him a tool set for Christmas and hopefully he'll leave mine alone. My son loves to drive his hummer and make it do burn outs and slide it sideways on turns. He did the same thing with his police edition harley davidson, battery powered. He would spin the tires from forward to reverse. HE IS MY BOY.

I noticed at my cousin's baby shower, my cousin's wife's nieces, had a barbie jeep and they only new how to hit the gas. They are a little older than he, but thier father asked if he would drive them. He did it like a man taking a girl on a date, very sensible. Then he asked the 2 year old to step down and for the 3 year old little girl to get in. I already know I am going to have trouble with him, but my parents always wished that I would get a child and pay me back for all I did to them.

Sorry about it, just wanted to share.

BuckShotJr....CONGRATS on the new addition. Children are AWESOME.

I have 2 daughters, 12 and 9. When little, It allows us to act like kids again. Running through the supermarket with the shopping carts and making noise. Throwing soft things into the cart from 20 feet away while the wife is shaking her head in full disgust:D . Burning ants with a magnifying glass, Spinning donuts in rental cars. Stomping on it from stop lights and watching them smile. Now that they are older they love when someone cuts me off when they are on their cell phone....They know what's next.... ):h If Night time it includes riding so close to their bumper you could not get a slice of paper inbetween us followed by load of lights. During the day it is the "pull in front of them" program and wait for the next stop light.....PU....I love when they have their windows down....:ro) I Know.... I know...Setting bad example some might say.......or am I.......?:D My daughters are learning NOT to talk on their cell phones while driving. They know there are others out there just like me that have had it with ignorant fools babbling or trying to enter a text messages while driving...:ro)

Enjoy the upcoming new one.......

My kids all love it when I do e-brake spins in our minivan as we pull into our cul-de-sac. They are the same kids yelling to go faster in the tube behind the boat when others are crying!!!!

Depriving a kid (congratulations on your coming addition) the chance to ride in a Duramax during their impressionable years might be a form of child abuse. Shoot, that's why I bought the truck. It wasn't for me, it was for them.:D

Took my wife to the hospital to give birth to my daughter, now 21, in my

CJ-5 with 18'' of lift, 40" Monster Mudders, 350ci SB Chevy powered.
Then when she was young, her and I use to cruse around in my 68 Chevy Pro-Street P/U that was 6-71 blown. "Make it whistle daddy!".
Now I get "What will the Banks do on level six?"

congrats on the little one and we hope all goes well...

we call our dmax the magic truck. It puts our 1 year old to sleep in seconds. If we need here awake when we get there we have to take the wifes car...
funny that way but true.

She is so happy to be out of the cavilear and into the crew cab. see looks out the wondow. and cracks the biggest smile when we race. that is if she is awake. Tell the wife to be greatful you have such a roomey truck and dont worry she will get the bug to drive it. We only have the truck and it hard to keep my wife from cursing. she can put 2 of her girl friens in the front and 3 babies in the back
