OK, I need to know a couple things about your buddies Dog...err Dodge.

1. What Year Is it?

2. ETC 4speed auto or 5 speed or ETH 6 speed

3. What does he expect out of it power wise?

sorry, forgot to mention, he isnt really looking for much power, just looking for a small increase in fuel if possiable. so in other words not a whole lot of power

A pressure box is a good power increase without much of a egt jump on the 3rd gen Dodges. The mild pressure boxes are the best combo for a hp increase with a slight egt increase. The aggressive pressure boxes get a little warm. I have also been impressed with the Bullydog downloader.

As Nathan Mentioned, a mild pressure box works well, IIRC the Edge Attitude is out now for the CTD 600's and a hot file is also in the works.

TST & Edge are both great companies to work with...

thats what i hear, but we are looking for a cheaper one with just a little power, like the 90hp hypertech at about $300 for the duramax, but for the 04.5 dodge

VanAaken makes a C3.2 box for an extra 60 hp.

FWIW, get a TST or a Juice Attitude. for the cost increase you get free gauges.

Okay Juice, why don't you sell him "the" injectors??? He says he just wants a little power, but you and I both know he will want more. Might as well start where you want to be.:ro)):h):h BTW. Shouldn't you mention that you are a DuraMax Man? HHuummmmmm! Betty

WELL SMARTYPANTS (lol)

Megamentals are for VP44 Equipped trucks.

They will not fit a HPCR Common rail CTD!

But a set of EDM Mach 5's on the other hand

Hi there Moss022, This is just kind of a joke between Juice and I. He tried to get me to buy the Mega Mentals for my lowly little 99 CTD and I'm just hanging out here in limbo and haven't gone for it yet. I love all the smoke though.:o:o I tried to get him to send them to me for my birthday but he didn't take the bait. Boo Hoo!!:( So now I follow him around the forum and tease him about the injectors. Sort of like stalking I guess. ):h):h Hope I didn't Hijack your thread.:o):h Betty

I had the super mentals and loved em. I highly recommend the megas. Might try some laser cut though(jammers?). Mine loped just a hair. I loved it but you might not. Reminded me of a cammed hotrod.

You can change your edge comp to a drag too. Send it in or do it yourself. I did it myself but my box died a year later. Installed the chip backwards then pulled it out and did it right. Dont do that.

Back to topic. Them 6 speeds will hold a mild box no problem. The auto might not like it. The auto is pretty tapped out at 600 lb ft.
