vt logger 03-09-2008, 09:10 AM Have a 04.5 and sent to the dealer with the check engine light on, they told me it was #1and #7 injectors,also the fuel pressure reg, so $1000.00 later picked up and guess what? same knocking noise at 15 to 1800 rpms, read all forums, checked the harness and change filters, also have the surging at idle,or when in tow haul mode,any sugestions? 05 gray ghost 03-09-2008, 11:16 AM Took mine in for the surge at idle thing and my dealership said it was the fuel pressure regulator and only that .....no injectors...and they quoted me a price of $1300.00. A lot of difference in the prices. I told them that it would have to wait. How many miles do you have on yours? vt logger 03-09-2008, 01:31 PM 65,00 miles, the dealer say's the regulator costs 400.00 something, then you have labor, then i had my 100.00 deductable on the injectors. | ||
