i have a 05lly and when i give it full throttle it cuts out and makes a cough sound from the intake/airfilter its only done it 3 or 4 times im not sure what it mite be

randy_the_hack 03-09-2008, 07:45 AM Change your fuel filter. cory e 05 dmax 03-09-2008, 02:15 PM do you have a k&n intake cause if you do i had problems with mine with those same symptoms. i changed air intakes and problem went away. switched to volant a dry filter instead of a oiled filter. but to this day i dont know if that was the problem. oil from the filter tends to get on maf sensor and truck runs funny. or check all your boost tubes to make sure their tight. people had problems with loose boost tubes with those symptoms. azduramax04 03-09-2008, 02:46 PM Filling out your signature will help a ton. . . . . .
