i have 2 audiobahn 10' subs that rate at 600watts rms, with a 1200 watt peak amp pushing them. but my question is that on the subs there is dual connections, like 2 positives and 2 negative hook-ups on each sub. how do i properly hook these up to my amp? any input would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Find out what kind of a load your amp will push and then find the wiring diagram that fits your setup and go to town.

That is because those subs are dual voice coils. You will need to wire each coil in series on parallel depending on what their ohms are. Do not run onn only one of the terminals. Where are you mounting them?

What Canoli said. Make sure you don't just wire one set of terminals.

i am asuming you want to run the sub amp bridged. post the ohm load the amp wants to see bridged and also post the ohm rating for each terminal on the dual voice coil speakers. i do some commercial sound and i have to impedance match 10 speakers to one channel sometimes.
