Hello Eric, I have just put 35" BFGs on dmax, if I am doing the calculations correctly then I must put 4:56 gears in to get back to stock ratios, is this correct?, if so where can I buy 4:56 gears for front and back for best deal? Also how much extra load is this putting on the truck, I have hot juice so I have plenty of power.

Actually 4.23 would be stock so 4.11 would be closer but if down the road u wanted too go bigger it would pay to go 4.56 now.
Do u tow or anything else w/ the truck?
I went 265 (32") first then 285 (33") to get the higher mpg empty and still have enough power for my 14k trailers.

Stock gears will be sufficent, there is plenty of torque to spin them tires, They will move anything up to the load rating on the tires fine.

Thanks for the info, I tow a 10,000lb toy hauler, the truck does the job fine, I just did not know how much extra stress was being applied to areas that may of may not have been engineered for it.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif
