I have a 98 3500HD and 3rd gear syncro is gone, want to rebuild or replace, anybody know model of trans/resources fro used and rebuilts? Mine has a pto.

Try Standard transmission, or Bluemanthals(Spelling ?) These companies both advertise a lot on the Dodge TDR and are both good suppliers for parts or trannies. The NVG 4500 is pretty easy to rebuilt.;)

What will you end up with using a gear splitter AND a xfercase? a ton of gear combinations, my guess. and strictly 2WD . .
