All the ones I have heard sound about the same.

I went with MBRP due to the price, quality, and popularity on here.

I believe all are of excellent quality, though. The only think I don't like is the MagnaFlow muffler.

I would be curious about anyone trying a Flowmaster system, though?

I wouldn't waste money on a 5" system, though - unless you are looking for 600+ hp.

Banks did a test for a friend of mine that sells their product. The only HP/TQ gain(s) came from 600hp on up.

When asked why they still sell a 5" system then?

"Because it will still sell".

Which is true enough. There is a different tone to the exhaust, but no power gain with the bigger pipes.

Ultimately, the system is only going to flow what the downpipe can throw at it. The downpipe actually necks down at the V-band flange.

The round flange at the end of the small curve (bottom-left of the pic) is where it connects to the turbo downpipe. All the system gets is what can squeeze through there:

4" will get you all you can get, but 5" does have a deeper, meaner tone. What sounds best? Its all a matter of opinion, really.

I love my 5" on my LMM... I got a magnaflow system from DSTRBD (great guy BTW) and it's perfect for me. Not too loud when on the highway, and when you romp on it the truck screams at you. If you want it loud get an MBRP or just delete the muffler. If you want it quieter then magnaflow is probably your best bet.
