My truck has 60,000 miles on it. I us Rotella as of now. I am wanting to change to synthetic.Would this be smart and is there a certain way I need to go about doing this? What brand would be recommended? Thanks all help will be appreciated.

its safe to switch at any time! just make sure there are no major oil leaks. if there is i would try and fix them first b4 you switch.

i run amsoil 15-40

I read in another post that you should mix 50/50 synthetic and whatever your running now. Should I do this or just go straight synthetic?

Straight synthetic no mix.

I switch to synthetic around 90K with no issues.

Mobil 1 Delvac 5W40.

Just do it.
