I have read alot of the post on there and have learded alot of new thing. As i am new to the Diesel world. I have a bone stock 05 CC with a LLY.
Just wondering if anyone out here can give me some help on upgrades.
I have a Edge Juice with ***.(not installed yet) as i not sure about drill for the EGT. Is there any good way to drill it so that NO metal gets in the Exhaust? I would like to put an Exhaust on it and was looking at putting a MBRP 4" or 5" read alot of thing on here about it and it seem that there is not a big different on a stocker.
Also want to upgade the air filter???? what the best one? oil or oil free? I live in PA. the truck is a daily driver and tows a 18 trailer on the weekend to the micro sprint& go-kart races (about 20 miles one way).

You'll need a tap and die set. Most people opt to leave the truck running when you drill it.

You're not gonna gain anything with a 5" that a 4" wont do for you. 5" tend to have a deeper sound but its alot more expensive.

You probably dont need to mess with the filter. The stock ones actually flow quite well and nothing out filters them. There is a mod to the stock air box that requires you to swiss cheese it to allow more flow. Filters or intake systems dont really give you any power. Most buy them simply for a louder turbo.

Hopefully someone can provide you a link to the Kennedy air box mod.
