I swear I saw a post on here somewhere about a problem with sticky power door locks. I too have that problem. Can someone direct me?
When I click my wireless door remote (and also the switch inside the cab) to lock the truck, the driver side door lock tends to not fully depress. Any ideas?
Thanks!

A friend of mine has a 99. Its his work truck and sees offroad every day,in and out constantly. Every couple of months hes got to pull door panel off and lube moving parts. Ive never watched but remember him complaining about having to do it.

It may also be a failing lock solenoid. My 2001 had a full aftermarket security system. Whenever you armed or disarmed, it would lock/unlock all of the doors. It would also lock the doors after starting the truck and unlock them when turning the key off...in other words they got a lot of work. After a few years of that, all 4 of them started getting weak (at the same time). We were convinced that it had to be in the wiring or relays or somewhere else because the chances of all of them going out at once seemed too slim. After a bunch of messing around, I finally replaced all 4 lock solenoids and everything was fine again.

Thanks for your information and thoughts. I think I'll tackle this problem this weekend.
I read somewhere else that the actuator wires run below the plastic kickplates (Bottom section of the door opening on the cab - not on the door). The person who posted the info said he found one of his wire's insulation had been rubbed off by his repetitive "stepping on" the kickplate when climbing into the cab.

The actuator wires for the rear doors on a crew cab will be below the kickplates. The front door wires run through the rubber boots at the front of the door.
I'd be surprised if it's a "rub-thru" problem.
