Putting a new set of 35" tires on my beast. Have read a ton on the site and am leaning toward BFG KM2s.

What do you think?

I have heard the opposite from the few people I know that are running them. The KM2s are going to be the next tire on my truck. I know a lot of places are now on waiting lists to get these tires.

Evry thing I've heard about them is opposit LOL (go figure) BUT that's just what I've heard. I have had both types of older MT's and they WEAR LIKE IRON... I'd expect NOTHING less from them. One nice thing is they are sipped unlike the older ones. When I get back from Afghanistan the KM2's are going on my Burb ASAP... And they do look good too

I voted for BF A/T's. Second truck and 3rd set and I dont think I'd run anything else. I guess it depends on how much you plan on spending off road where a MT would come in handy vs. time spent on the road where an AT would do just fine, especially with road noise. Road noise is important to me like alot of people. I cant stand the typical hum from mud grips. They do look nice but to me it isnt worth the extra sound.

How many miles did you get out of your current set?

Ive had about every tire out there on my trucks! Bfg's are great if your doing a lot of highway driving and such, but are not that great off road! The best off road tire ive had is the toyo m/t's! Those tires lasted a long time, road great, but as they got worn they did become louder! Its was a mud terrain so what can you expect.Something ive learned is for looks and performance you have to give up ride quality and wear on tires!of course all terrains will last longer than a mud terrain! Its all personal prefrence!
