Anyone know the part number for the fan clutch that will adapt a duramax fan to a four bolt flange water pump?

I believe my 96 has a six bolt fan clutch mounting flange and the later ones four bolt. If I'm wrong someone correct me on what year the four bolt ones started as I believe that's what you need to mount the larger nine blade fans. BobT 01-28-2005, 08:51 AM FNG, The DMax fan will go in place of the stock 9 or 10 blade steel fan on the newer 6.5 trucks. Uses the same bolts. Just buy a HD fan clutch for a '98 or thereabouts from your favorite vendor and install. I would advise going with a re-calibrated clutch from Kennedy or getting a good quality OE clutch and modifying it so it brings the fan on a little sooner to 'stay ahead' of heat load, especially in warm weather hilly towing conditions.
