McRat 01-24-2005, 02:20 PM What can you tell us about this harness box?
I'm not having too much luck yet with harness boxes.
Max Payne 01-24-2005, 02:30 PM I did get a chance to run one in an LLY a while back, that had a turbo-bark from hell with the J/A. It felt as strong or stronger than the J/A L5 and did not have any turbo-bark. I liked it, but the customer chose the J/A anyway because of the Attitude.
Max Power 01-24-2005, 02:31 PM Any luck stacking it with the predator? :o
McRat 01-24-2005, 02:32 PM Any luck stacking it with the predator? :o
Inquiring minds want to know! ;)
Max Power 01-24-2005, 02:35 PM It might be worth your while testing it if you haven't already got around to it. There are quite a few of us who really NEED MORE POWER! :D
Max Power 01-24-2005, 02:41 PM Is this BS? 150hp for the LLY with a VA box? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33597&item=7949294765&rd=1
McRat 01-24-2005, 02:51 PM 150???
Who can confirm this?
fredw 01-24-2005, 10:45 PM va ussally quotes hp at the motor, at least it use too
Max Power 01-24-2005, 10:58 PM Most of VA's claims lately have been pretty accurate.
fredw 01-24-2005, 11:04 PM ha max your days are almost up of being single, which wrist are you going to be using
Max Power 01-24-2005, 11:05 PM lol. Hopefully I won't need to find out. Can't complain about the last 5 years. ;)
RickDLance 01-25-2005, 12:01 AM I am looking for a fuel mileage increase. I've tried most of whats out there. Can somebody tell me what these will do?
tbone1227 01-25-2005, 01:33 AM Mark - whats the dealio, any HP numbers, driveability, etc ? I think alot of people are ready to try this out - and how many do you have available ?
BIGBLOCKBILL 01-25-2005, 01:37 AM Where can I find more info on this box? Van Aaken's website has not been updated yet. I'm interested, but skeptical(sp).
Max Power 01-25-2005, 11:27 AM Check here http://www.dieselperformanceparts.com/
BIGBLOCKBILL 01-25-2005, 11:49 AM Max Power, they had pricing and info for the LB7 hot box but no LLY.Do you know anyone who has tried one yet?
tbone1227 01-25-2005, 11:58 AM where JK - he always has good info on the van aaken stuff ? JK, help us out here and any input on the program would be great - thanks
Max Power 01-25-2005, 12:05 PM No sorry. Give mark a call. I am sure he can help you out.
Kennedy 01-25-2005, 01:33 PM Yes and no. The old LB7 versions were pretty sad. New versions that were developed here meet or exceed claims by 5HP. Problem is, they didn't necessarily choose the best files of the bunch for their release files.):h
150HP for the LLY is a pretty lofty goal...
Most of VA's claims lately have been pretty accurate.
tbone1227 01-25-2005, 01:37 PM Kennedy, what does not choosing the right files mean ? And have you had a chance to test this new tune out for the LLY and if so, what did you think ? Also, are you selling these or only Mark ?
Kennedy 01-25-2005, 03:06 PM I'll have some soon, but I'm not rushing into it until it is run on my truck.
As for not choosing the right files, the LB7 tunes released in their respective power level ratings may NOT be the best of those available...
Mark Craig 01-25-2005, 08:19 PM Afternoon,
The OFFICIAL van Aaken HP levels are 70 and 130 NOT 150. You stack or do anything you like but be cautious with any of the extreme mods!

Dutchie 01-27-2005, 09:32 PM Just installed LLY Vanaaken. I'm trying to find a guy around here with 130 horses I can hook up to since nobody around here has a dyno. Can't seem to find a horse farm that big. Very impressed so far though. Nice smooth power but roads are snow covered so I haven't had a lot of chances to open 'er up.
Mark Craig 01-28-2005, 11:50 AM Dutchie,
Excellent response I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You need to move to Kentucky, lots of horses there.
