I believe they are a direct replacement. Personnaly, I like the earlier tail lights better.

yeah they are a direct replacement. Just use the wiring that comes on the new lights and plug them into the junction block. Pretty easy

Did thye come with the harness 03-04 chevy harness? If not your harness will work but you will have to rotate the sockets some to get them to go in. A little trimming of the tab openings too. If you want the small 4th light you can go to AutoZone and pick up a couple replacement liscense plate light sockets and some 194 bulbs. Use a couple quick connectores to wire in the 4th light to the "lights on" circuit and your good to go fro under $10 and 10 min work.

i got them in mine, and i didnt get the harness, it just lights up the little part at the top, i kinda like it like this, if you want a pick pm me, i got a lot of it
