but I ran out of fuel recently. My question is, should I have bleed the fuel system before starting? I primed FOREVER and it took a couple of try's. Once I did fire it up then she died about 25 sec. later. Primed again and all is good. Do I need to go back an bleed it even though it is running ok? I am assuming I should replace the filter immediately. Please be gentle I was having fun with my new tuner.:D

You are fine, no need for a filter change. I have had to prime several times after running out of fuel or after changing the pre filter. Bleeding helps get the air out faster. Try bleading at the schrader valve though, saves the wear and tear on the plastic bleeder screw. If you get a lift pump, that "forgot to fill" up will cost you alot more.

You should be fine. It you had air in the system, it would continue to stall. Just change the filter at your regular intervals.

Thanks guys, if I run out of fuel with a lift pump will it burn up the motor? I was planning on going with one that has a bypass on it so when I get below a 1/4 I can shut it off.
