well now that is has had time to show some results, what are you guys seeing out of the Cortex? i know it is not as powerful as the PPE, EFI, QUAD,etc.... BUT none of these give a 2yr p-train warranty either!

just looking for some results. i want to add some power, less than 100hp, and for the money (and the warranty) the Cortex is quickly moving up on my list.....

what do you guys think?

I recently purchased the Superchips and have been pleasantly surprised. The performance mode setting has given me approx 10% fuel savings and a considerable bump in power. Well worth the money in my opinion, now if only I can get the data logger to work...

thanks pinski

it just makes more since to go with the Superchips to me since i am not looking to throw 200hp to my motor, nor am i looking to rebuild my tranny. i know all the others are just as good, many even better, but the warranty is what is getting me. this seems like a good alternative to be able to play it safe and still have a little fun at the same time

I may have gotten a lemon but I ran my Cortex for a month and sent it back . I couldn't tell any difference from stock. I've tried the cortex and flash paq on mine and didn't get much joy from either.
On the other hand when I had my ford I loved the Superchip and my son is running one in a ford now and loving it, throwing that in so it doesn't seem like I'm bashing them.

i've had a few people call back and say the same thing. my personal suggestion would be the quadzilla, they warranty their electronics for life, they will defuel for saftey, they have data logging, trans re-learn, free updates and free a DPF delete download if you wanted to take that off in the future.

give me a shout if you have any questions.
