: Is Hard Shift Normal? Little Help Please

:)I towed the 5er yesterday for the first time. 8000#. Right at 1000 miles on the truck. Had all the power you could ask for. It shifted fine except when I gave it a little more throttle (about 1/4 pedal ) it shifted hard from 2 to 3 and 3 to 4. Is this what the Ally does or should I be concerned? I was in T-H mode. Normally you can barely feel it shift with no load behind it. I will say this; I never had a truck that came this close to driving itself before. It was marvelous.

Normal. Alli is adapting itself to the increased tq demanded.

:)You got that right!!!!!!!!! When you are not used to it ,it kinda makes your b--- reach out and bite on the seat. Thanks.:)
